Release Notes: Manufacturer Partner & Permission Management Update

Release Overview
This update enhances Manufacturer Partner & Permission Management by introducing new, more descriptive roles to replace the previously used "Authorized Partner" designation. The update aims to provide greater clarity and precision in partner role definitions and assignments.

Key Updates

  1. New Partner Roles:

    • Manufacturer Clearing House

    • Agency

    • DataSet Provider

    • Distribution Provider

  2. Permission Assignments:
Permission assignments will now be managed through the following groups:

    • Company Settings management

    • Master Offer File management by level

    • Coupon Distribution management (previously assigned in Enterprise Settings)

Permission Levels for Master Offer File Management
The following permission levels remain unchanged:

  • LEVEL 1:

    • Full management of all master offer files.

  • LEVEL 2:

    • Full management of only partner-created master offer files.

  • LEVEL 3:

    • Read-only access is available to view all master offer files and associated reports.

Compatibility and Notes

  • No changes to the underlying permissions logic.

  • For Manufacturers: TCB will re-align your current Authorized Partners assignments with the New Partner Roles.

  • For Authorized Partners: TCB will assign your respective New Partner Role. Your accessibility and/or visibility to partner MOFs will not change.

Rollback Data

Rollbacks are defined as any redemption call on a single coupon that does not result in a redemption. Rollbacks are not counted on redemptions that are part of a coupon bundle or redeemed via fetch code. Bundled coupons (which could be represented by a fetch code) could contain coupons that are not intended for redemption but are left in the bundle for shopper convenience. This bundling behaviour, if included, could skew rollback data intended to help identify issues with Master Offer Files (Ex. incomplete UPC set).

Rollback notifications are sent to all associated stakeholders at 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 rollbacks per master offer file.
